We had a wonderful deepavali. Went to ashland temple and after 5 years we had some crackers for deepavali:) Janani was all excited and wanted to hold the mathapu (sorry do not know the english word for it). For halloween janani was dressed as none other than - ELMO! All of us recovering from a second set of cold and flu. Cant wait for the season to be over.

It had been long time since i came to IL. I was trying new recipe suddenly i thought of doing some painting,i strained my self in a way i got abdomen pain and i have been forced to rest for few days.Resumed my normal activities.

Preethi - So sorry for a last minute reply,i received your mail and replied it yesterday.How is your cold? Still remaining little here and there or it went off fully make you say who got cold!!!!
litha - i am fine and thanks for your care and prayers.Hope everything is fine.
jayasri - i also like elmo, i think many will like ,how old is janani ? more about myself , i was working in chennai for last two years,i came to boston right after my marriage in dec08 this is my second winter in US. I like to cook and paint which i started as full time after my wedding since i have lot of my' time.I think that is ok for now ,what else would you like to know? i think we will keep things to share when we meet in person.
