Anybody Living in Stamford

Anybody living in Stamford,CT. I live in Hope Street. Mother of a 2 month old baby boy.

i am lakshmi and from stamford.i hv 21/2 yr old kid.
i am new here and my inlaw is here .i was wondering if u or anybody can suggest me some places to visit in around connecticut or newyork ,newjersey.
my MIL will going back to india in may.cant wait for summer.she wanted to visit applefields but came to know its off season.

looking for some replies...

Dear Lakshmi,

In NY there are many places for visiting.
Statue of liberty
Wax museum
Empire State Building
Even the NY city itself looks fabulous at night times.
These are the places that i remember for now.
In CT i am not aware of any thing.But if u can drive little east u can visit Cape Cod in MA even that is a gud place.Cape Cod is huge but we went to Providence Town,the special thing here is u can see both the sunrise and sunset at the same place.

My suggestions for CT visit is -

Visit Connecticut! The Official Connecticut State Vacation Guide

I am sure you are familiar with the famous landmarks in NYC & NJ area.

You can take them to the -
American Natural History Museum at NYC
American Museum of Natural History
Very huge, have to spend the whole day.

Kent Falls
DEP: Geology of Kent Falls State Park
Very beautiful falls. I liked it...

For shopping - Take them to Clinton or Woodbury mall and also to IKEA in New haven

Let me know if you need more ideas.

Hi Lakshmi,

Hope your inlaws had some good time in Stamford. My son is doing fine, now going to complete his 7th month. Very Naughty and unmanageable but still enjoying with him.
