Indian Restaurants/Eateries in the Northeast

Hi all,

Can any one suggest any good fast food Indian restaurants around Boston, Penn station in NY, near columbia Univ and around univ of Penn as I will be traveling aroung there in June?

Hi All.

Though am not from the Northeast, am here for a couple of months & i can give you some of my reviews of NJ restaurants that am visiting from past 2-3 months.

1.Hoysala in Somerset : http://www.hoysalarestaurant.com/.& Saravana Bhavan in Edison

Hoysala's South Indian buffet is pretty good .They seem to be consistent in taste,quality...& ofcourse Saravana Bhavan's tiffins.

2. Tava Indian Restaurant (732) 985-2414 1357 Stelton Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854 .

They have recently introduced Indo-Chinese & liked the manchurian there very much.Other North Indian stuff is also fine.

3.Chand Palace :

Visited atleast 5 times so far but yesterday was the worse buffet we ate...it was named chatpata night,but the food was bland & disappointing.

4.Aachis Chettinadu : AACHIS INDIAN CHETTINAD RESTAURANT

Plz avoid going to their Indo Chinese Sunday buffet-v.expensive & not worthwhile at all...all you ladies am sure can cook better than their Indo-Chinese.You can try South Indian buffet .

5.Paradise Biryani: ::: Paradise Hyderabad Biryani ::: & Abhiruchi Biryani : www.abhiruchi.net

Not consistent in taste n quality.Can definitely give a try...if craving for biryani!

6. Anjappar Chettinadu too is fine.Their mutton/goat soup is the highlight.

7. Dosa Grill : D O S A* G R I L L - Fine Indian Cuisine

Disappointed us to the extremes.Bland & stale food.

recently ate at Madras mahal in Manhattan. It was exellent and Kosher, too.
