Hi all,

This is to call all the new jersey people...

All nj residents, please reply to this thread .. with a small intro about yourself..

By the way I will give my intro.

I am Swati and I stay in Somerset, NJ. I am on an H4 visa here with my hubby. I love to make friends, cook, read,etc. I came here in sep last year and would love to have friends here, as all of you know its really boring here without a good friend. I have a few friends in my locality.. I was working in India in Bangalore as a merchandiser and I am a post-graduate in designing from NIFT,Delhi. I have always been very career-oriented and after coming here, I feel I should do something but cant figure out where to start.
Anyways, thats me! Waiting for all the NJ residents reply.

Saniya here, few months back moved to Nj from NY. I have been in US for 5yrs on H4. As a housewife with one 4yrs old kid, I stay all the time at home, sometimes its really boring.

Want some change, make new friends,want to share each others thoughts...........many more

Hi...I am Shveta ,living in jersey city,Nj for past one n half year....like you out there I am also on H4 and get really bored at time.I am looking forward to making friends n joining some social group.I dont have kids and am basically from delhi.

I am Geetha and we just moved to NJ...we live in edison and I have a 14 month old girl...I work from home and wanting to find a playgroup for my daughter....

I stay in Harrison towers ..
Edison village is not very far from my place..
So tell me more abt yourself? where areu from in india?
I am from Lucknow and I was working in Delhi as a merchandiser after studying in NIFT, Delhi. I am a punjabi and had a love marriage. I came here in Sep last year and getting adjusted to the atmosphere here.. I dont have a baby till now.. so reading, cooking, watching tv and a volunteer job keeps me busy..what are u doing to pass your time? U made friends here? I am sure edison village will have lot of Indians..
