| Hi, I want to buy a blender which suits to South Indian needs. Can Any one suggest me which is good.We are going to stay here for just one year So I dont want to go for Preethi or summet which are expensive. Thanks Rama. |

| Dear Rama Welcome to NJ. You can go for Oster brand blender which suits for South Indian cooking well. You can even make idly/dosa batter in that. Please go for 14speed or 16speed blender, then only it will be durable. The blender comes with a tall jar. You can also buy a small mixi jar(suitbale for making podis and chutneys)from Indian stores seperately. The blender will cost around 25 to 30bucks and the small jar will be around 10bucks. I have been using the Oster blender successfully for the past one year. If you have any doubts, pl write to me. Regards Priya |
