HI, Vry nice that you're coming to NJ. You could also consider Journal Square area, tht's vry near to NYC and lot of Indian groceries and hotels you can find in that place.

Hi Anju, As many of our IL tes already suggested those places all goodone . I reside in Jersey city, Journal square is pretty near from our home(10minutes)where one whole street called Indian street(a kutti T.Nagar ). Regards, USHA.

Hi, As per my knowledge i don't know whether there is house for rent in that area(Journal square)...few of my hubby's collegues are over there.. We are staying in Bleecker street, from where you can reach Journal square just by taking community van from the main road(1.25$) takes maximum10minutes to reach Journal square. To reach Newyork port Authority(35minutes) they charge2$in the community van from the main road. If you want i can give you details if i find near our place.Even this area is good, you got whole street of shops(beside) where you got some 7-8 dollar shops, all cuisines,Mc.Donalds,Burger,Papa Johns. Give me your criteria. Are you insearch of single bedroom or 2bedroom? Regards, USHA.

Thanks in advance Suma |

Hi Suma, I live in Jersey CIty Heights now. It's been six months here. I have also lived in Newport area for about one and a half years. In the heights just beyond Newark Avenue, the concentration of Indian community is high. Rent is comparatively less than Newport area. Even in the parks, you can hear a lot of Indian languages. Regards, Mythili
