 Dear Sailaja Since you wanted the info,I got the US immigration website for you. In my case,my husband got his company's consultant to do the entire thing for us. I only signed some papers,that's all.The rest was taken care of by the consultant.Even for the green card,the consultant did everything.So,I am very sorry,I really am not in a position to help you. Once you get a work permit,you have to automatically apply for a GC if you want to continue working since the permit is valid only for a year.      |
