Are there any Indians in South Jersey that I could talk with? I am adopted and I have known that I am Indian. I have taught myself a lot about India and the culture and the food.

I was born in India and then moved here with family when I was a teen. Yes you are right, it was a big difference but I was more surprised to see that Indians in America were more 'Indian' than those in India haha. My dad would say Indians in America still follow the culture that was in the 80's.
You were adopted, So I am guessing you have never been to India, is that right?

Yes, you are right. I have never been to India. I plan to go someday. There are many Indians in North Jersey, not in my area. I am learning more everyday.
What shocked you the most when you went there? What cities did you go to?
I find Indians nice and easy to engage in simple conversations compared to Americans.
