hi friends
i m asha .came to US last june.i too m on H4 and currently in jersey city downtown.i dont have any friends out here.so was really happy to see this forum.i am looking forward to making some friends through this forum.......

Hi all,
I am from Newhmapshire.

My frnd recently moved to Parsippany,Nj from India.
Currently she don't have internet access.
She desperately needs friends here.
& she is new to this country she can't go outside alone in this winter.
I have gon eto her place, their apartment complex is very big one.
I am sure that definitely our Indians r staying in that apartment.
But no Indian r visible...may be bcz of chillness outside.

I thougth i can help her..with this site.She will become IL member once she gets Internet.
So Ladies plz come forward..& give ur responses..

We have moved to new jersey last june and are now living in morristown . We are a family of 4.
I am getting bored out my brains as my kids are older and dont need me so much . Cant work so would appreciate any ideas on how people spend their time. I have read Ton of books and cooked a million meals .... and now would sure love to hear how people spend their time..

I am not form NJ
I spent my time with browsing, knitting,embroidery,softtots making,some times beading..these r all my winter activities

In summer i usd to go public library(my hubby drops me over there in the afternoons & picks me upp from ther in the evenings)
Walking & my hobbies if possible.

In libraries u will get all types of books including arts & crafs books.
There r so much..to learn .
& If u r interested in Arts& crafts, then In walmart Arts&Crafts secton there r lot of htings..we can learn owr own.
Knitting is very simple u can take classs in Michaels,try cross stciching very very simple..u will get patterns in all shops.
& so many ideas blogging sites, Surfing..etc,.
So many languages u can learn online & I love to watch Travel channel, HGTv,TLC
some times i feel like ..24hours is not suffiecient for me.
like this i pass my time.

Thanks for your reply. i too go to the library and get books . Unfortunately my hubby does not get time to come midway. But thank you for all your wonderful suggestions.
I will certainly look up Michael's and knitting maybe they will have something to do on the weekends.
I guess its just me feeling blue, am missing my friends .
