hey pearl detroit michigan is where there a tonnes of indians.. infact i have my uncle and co sis living there... i think u have to get registered in the indian community there GLAC michigan.. and u can meet lots of them.. they are really good!!

Parashakthi temple is really nice. Infact, they are having daily homams and kacheris during navarathri, including sundal ;-) check it out!

Yes, It is indeed a wonderful temple. Very nice alankarams. I visited the temple couple of evenings last week and it was a very nice feeling.

Dint go to much of other places since I have been here. Visited couple of parks and lakes. How about u. How long are u here?

The other temples r not south indian type. so, I really like our parashakthi temple It has grown recently and they r doing a nice job.

I've been here for about 3 1/2 yrs.....sometimes feels like it is too long.

I'm from thiruvanmiyur.....how about u? where from? where here?

Vrao, I was in Chromepet in Chennai. Here in Troy now.
I did not get a chance to visit other temples, but while browsing over the net I found that they are not so much south indian
