I'm Tharini (Indus Lady username :Tara) and live in Aurora with my hubby and 3 and 1/2 old son Akhil. We are expecting our second child (a boy) in Feb 2007.

I have done my CPA, though resently I am a SAHM. We have been in Chicagoland for about 6 years now and love this place. I would love to make more friends through this forum, and also meet more people wth kids so my son can also have some company.

My interests range from reading, to writing (blogging mostly at this point....check out my site www.winkiesways.blogspot.com )

This was just a brief intro for now.....hoping to see more andmore people joining in on this board.

I am from Mumbai, and joined my hubby here in Apr 06. Do I like being in the US ? Well..once in a while, yes. But but....the feeling that I am thousands of miles away from my family , in a land where I am termed as alien is not a real comfort.

Thank God for a wonderful hubby and son who promise me every nite that we will soon returm to India, I am surviving. I am expecting my second kid in Feb 07. So, that makes me feel more vulnerable...how will I handle things??

Hoping that through this forum I will be able to connect to women like me and will be able to make the stay more enjoyable.

I am basically from chennai and after the marriage, we stayed in Hyderabad for 2 yrs.

I did my BA frm chennai and MBA frm VIT vellore.

My hobbies are listening to good music, reading good books,and recently cooking.
I am also interested in pets.

I live here with my husband .not ready for kids yet

Hello friends,

I will be moving to Chicago with my husband on saturday, 17th Feb. We have taken an apartment in Westmont, a suburb near Chicago. Nice to see many ladies in and around this area. We were supposed to move to NH, but later the plans changed, so we wil be in Westmont from 17th Feb!
