I can understand its difficult to go out in cold for a jog or excercise.
U an do Aerobics, which is as good as jogging, u need to do something that increases ur heart rate...before exercising ... and after that you do the usual exercises like ab - crunches, oblique crunches, leg raises and reverse crunches....

For winter-weight losss,
1 if you cant go outside you can go to the apartment gym ,which is usualy at walkable distance.
2.if you have tv,cable connection at home,they have a channel Fit tv ,they run programs from many trainers like 30 min full body workout ,dance or belly dance ,indian dance,abs
just 10 mins makes me die...
Try Gilad's...full body workout ,usually comes at 9.30 or 10 am
3.Run astha channels on internet for yoga
4.on youtube ,you can find workouts to accompany u
I said all this ,because for me (i think for many ppl) its easy to folow someone on Tv or live(like jumping ,squatting with someone) ,rather than doing in 4-walls alone by remembering this & that.
