Want to Know about Penang

Hi all

Iam planning to move from Bangalore to Penang (Malaysia). I would like to know about Penang. I want to know about the climatic conditions, food, cost of living etc. If u know u can tell me about it. I also would like to know about the people there and also about how much money is required to lead a decent family(mine is a small family-me,my husband and one kid). I also would like to know about the medical facilities available there since i have a small kid who is of 16 months old. Thanks in advance.
