Should Indian Judiciary Follow Malaysia?

Hi all,

We see many violations against women in all over India since long. Women are being battered brutally especially in lower and middle class. There are rapes child rapes but no exemplary punishment and people get escaped easily.


Indians leaving in Malaysia can get good law and orders there at least for rape. Like Singapore and Brunei Malaysian authority do caning to the offenders of rape, drug dealing like many other crimes. It is very hard caning appropriate for the rapist. It was initiated from British era. In India also we did have that type of punishment in British period. However Britain abolished that punishment long before in Britain.

As Indian do you think judicial caning can be reintroduced in India especially for the rape and other violence against women?
