| | Trip to Malaysia
Hi,
I am planning a trip to Malaysia, could you help me out with the following:
- How do I arrange a trip from Kuala Lumpur to Cameron Highlands if we do not want to drive?
- Which Island would you prefer langkawi or Penang and why?
- Are there any good tour operators in Kuala Lumpur?
- Are there any possibilities to hire a car with a driver?
Hope to hear from you.
Love,
C

MY answers are in red fonts. Hope you can understand or do not hesitate to e mail me. There are plenty of buses available, even the hotel you stay may be able to arrange. There are also private buses from the main bus station (pudu raya) Langkawi is better choice. There are plenty in KL & the hotel will be able to arrange too. Yes, driver with car is available too Hope you have a nice trip. Some hotel have alot facilities to arrange or you can on line make all arrangements. Jaya

Thank you for your reply.
We are planning to visit Cameron Highlands for 1 day. Do you think it is too short?
Also we noticed that there are school holidays from the end of May til mid June, is it wise to travel through Malaysia during school holidays.
Could you let me know what the must see are when visiting Kuala Lumpur? (We planned a city tour, Batu Caves, Malacca Tour).
Love,
C

| | Re: Trip to Malaysia Dear Chandramukhi, Cameron highlands is 4 hrs drive from KL. If you leave early morning you can see around and leave by late evening (tea plantations-and flowers & cool weather in CH) Advisable to stay for the night. School hols hotels are often fully booked and room rates are high. KL -batu caves, twin tower, rubber plantations , Malacca is historical town. East malaysia- sabah and sarawak you have prisitine rainforest and caves to visit Thanks ,Jaya Quote:

Hi Brinda,
Please look for an agent in Chennai who can do the needful. Also the place to visit depends on your interest. If you are sports inclined you may need to east malaysia, while shopping and sight seeing, casino it is in wast Malaysia.
Most popular destinations are : KL, batu caves, genting highlands, pangkor or langkawi, Malacca, Penang - you may opt to go to Singapore too, since it is very close to Malaysia.
