Cost of living in Penang, Malaysia

Hi All,
Currently we are in Bangalore and we will shift soon to Penang, Malayisa as my husband will be joining a job there.

We wanted to know the details on the below lines.

1. Cost of living in Penang?
2. House rental and local tranportation?
3. How to search for a house near by the Indian community?

My husband's office location might be near by Bayan Lepas, 11900 Penang
So, Please let me know these details.
