i am anu and live in west covina ,CA . I have one year old baby and would like to involve her in some social activities. so any one having kids in this age group please post ur suggestions regarding this.


i have heard that YMCA conduct some swimming classes for 1 year old babies.


any other activities where i can involve her?

YMCA Conducts swimming classes for one year old babies.

there is a mommy and me class which conducts activities for children of all age groups. u can visit the website Mommy and Me

there is play group named gymboree . u can also enroll in that. the web address is

u can also take ur kid to the local library where in they conduct story time classes once in a week which is absolutely free and they even teach our children to the concept of drawing and coloring.

i think gymboree is bit costly. but u can enroll for mommy and me class.

No anusha i havent attended any class so far. but i am planning to . the problem is i dont have a driving licence and for everything i need to wait for my hubby . so this weekend we r planning to go for the gymboree class . on every wednesday we take her to the story time class . though she is too small to attend they r asking us to bring her so that she will soon get involved.
