School Admission in LA

    Hi ILs,

    I'm a new comer to this forum and I found the info. here very useful.

    We will be going to LA in October'15. Planning to stay in Cluver City/Torrance. I understand that Schools have already started in US. Can you please let me know if we will be able to get school admission for my 10 yr old daughter in mid-october.

    Abhinaya,

    In US(to my knowledge) every neighborhood area has a school assigned to it (Elementary/Middle and High School). If you have decided on the apartment you can check in google for the neighborhood school for that area. Once done please reach out to the school. If there is a vacancy they should give ur daughter admission. If they do not have vacancy they will assign you to the nearest school
