    Hi

My husband has found a job in Santa Ana in L.A.

I will be moving to USA next month and I wonder which will be ideal place to live near Santa Ana. Is there any Indian community living nearby?

I wonder if public transport can be used initially. Appreciate all your suggestions.

    thanks

    Hello,

Santa ana is not really a good place to live, there are some nice apartments but only in certain parts. Try looking for apartments in the south coast metro area those are nice. Public transportation is a little slow in OC so it is probably a good idea to live close by shopping and the work place.

    Hope this helps

    Thanks Shobhna. Got your point.
So if I rule out Santa Ana which other place you can recommend which is relatively closer to Santa Ana and Indian community nearby?
    Appreciate your time.

Irvine of course has a huge amount of indian people, costa mesa has a decent amount, tustin, lake forest. All of these cities are fairly close to Santa Ana. South coast metro is Santa Ana but it is the nice part of Santa Ana I think my husband and I have seen about 70% of the apartments in these cities over the past 3 years. Irvine is the best but it is expensive.

    Hi Shobhna

thanks very much for your help. Indeed this will help shorten the search.
My husband's workplace will be around S Harbor Boulevard.
Taking your post into account I will search Irvine first for obvious reasons. Hope it is not too far away from this address.

Also any specific website/apartments we should focus on?

    thanks once more

    Vrinda

Do you know the zip code? I can tell you about the decent ones that I know in that area in case Irvine is too far.

Mediterranean village is about 3.7 miles from that zip code , i had a friend who was living there they loved it.
There was also villa venitia it was nice but they seem to be doing some construction. one more we liked was a camden community in costa mesa but im not sure of the name.

thanks. So you reckon Irvine will be far off from this place? and also initially I plan to use Public transport. Is it dependable with some reasonable frequency? Both Mediterranean village and other 2 had some Indian community nearby?
    sorry asking too many questions.

Both of those places are not too far from Irvine, judging from what I saw when I was on the apartment tours there are some indians but I am not sure how many or how friendly they are lol
