Purpose of the role
To directly support the two Regional Sales Managers covering Western Europe to achieve sales
targets
Candidate profile
A dynamic graduate-calibre person taking the first steps in their career path, ideally with some
experience of a customer-facing role. Working within a Commercial team of Sales, Marketing and
Customer Service staff, you will be pivotal to the success of the largest sales territory and will
contribute directly to CABI's revenue and profits. An excellent communicator in written and spoken
English, you will ideally have skills in one or more major European language.
Key Accountabilities
•
As a member of the Sales team, contribute directly to achieving CABI's revenue goals
•
Directly support two Regional Sales Managers with preparation for sales visits, follow-up
actions, preparation of price quotes, market research and production of dedicated promotional
materials
•
Develop a strong working relationship with customers and handle all general queries, including
first-tier customer service
•
With the Marketing team, manage specific promotional activities to achieve maximum impact
•
Be responsible for populating and maintaining data in CABI's business systems to ensure the
accuracy and quality of information therein
•
Work closely with colleagues in Marketing, Customer Services and the Publishing business unit
to achieve maximum operational effectiveness
