Question Coming to London

Hi i 'l be coming to London for a short term proj(4-5 months) i need accomodation in london.. my work place wud be near bishopsgate and i m lookin for a place near my workplace and most preferably where indian population is good...

i don mind travellin so the 1st point wud be indian ppl around

some of my frds are staying in watford..?? wat u do think i can manage the travel daily coz i heard it is 1 hr travel from watford....

please suggest
and i wud thankfull if u tel me the expenditure in london for a month including a room,grocaries,travel expenses.

i need to make a rough estimate of tht

very urgent

Hi Tangie:

I'm not sure of where the Indian population is mainly located. Cost of living in London is quite high but it depends on individual situation.
Check this website out, will help you with a rough estimate of costs in London.

Travelling from Watford to London is not a problem. You can have monthly train pass between Watford and Euston and then an underground rail pass for travel in London.

wat is the formal wear over there... is jeans considered a formal wear???

The weather is still cold, so you will need your woolies but not the really thick ones.

Jeans is not considered formal. Regular cotton / synthetic trousers/ skirts with shirts can pass as formal wear. Check this site below, just for an idea.
