Default Please provide information

Hello,

My name is Pooja and Im from India. This is my first time on the website. Me and my Husband will be relocating to Japan shortly. Before coming, I want to have some information so that we can plan accordingly. If any of the respected member can provide info, I will be grateful:

1. Do we get respect being an Indian in Japan? How do they treat us?
2. We are pure vegetarian. Can we get pure veggie food there?
3. Can we cook at home, Indian food?
4. How much Yen's are needed for a family to live happily and normal life in a month? This will help us to negotiate our salary.
5. What about schooling. My kid is 4 yrs old, do we have good english schools and are they costly?

Thanks for your time

Pooja

Hi Nithe,

Thanks a lot for the information and indeed it's helpful. But I am not sure if really 40K Yen per mnth will be sufficient to meet all the expenses like rent, groceries, electricity, water, schooling and some other petty things.

This information is really important to me before relocating there. Any inputs will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
Pooja
