Need help on GT test for vanguard school program.

    My son is currently in PreK and he will be turning 5 yrs next year June(ie june 2016).He would need to take the GT test this november to enter the vanguard school program.Which test does he need to take - OLSAT ,NNAT or CogAT? I read online that HISD previously used NNAT and as of 2014-2015 school year kids entering kindergarden and 5 th grade should take CogAT. Its very confusing. Has anyone's kid took the test last year ? Please could you shed light on this? Your advise would be really helpful.
