Please let me know what baby foods shud I bring along into the flight for my baby.
Shud I get a pram for my kid or can I carry her?
Also, pls suggest all the essential things that I shud carry into the flight for my kid.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
You will be provided baby food at the flight but always i've carried my own food or rather what the baby is used to. i find in any flight they take their own sweet time to bring the food so better to have our own stock:) whatever your child is used to... that's important. Carry milk powder (if not breastfeeding) in separate containers (portioned for easy use), spare feeding bottles and an empty flask. As soon as the flight starts ask the flight attendant to fill in the bottle with hot water. That way you don't need to wait for their help later. Also carry biscuits, banana (or whatever fruit your child likes)... basically whatever you think will help in crisis:)
Apart from that diapers, change of clothes (also a t-shirt/tops for yourself), socks, a blanket, moisturising cream (my babies have dry skin so i always carry).
Do carry the pram. You can carry that until the entrance to the aircraft and then it's of great help during transit and also until you reach your husband:) It's a real pain to carry your baby in your arms and do baggage claim etc.,
Oh yes and do carry essential medicine like for fever, cough. Not the entire lot but for emergency in your cabin baggage.
Have a great flight. Any idea which part of Munich you will live in?

Anitha and Latha,
Thanks a lot for your response...It was really helpful.
Can I take some disposable cups with me so that I can mix some food (nestum) and throw away?
Also pls tell me abt the climate there at present and should i get all the thermal wear for us or can we get them over there?
Thanks in Advance.

Hi,
The climate here is good now..its summer.. there is no need for you to carry thermal wears..but bring sweater for ur kid..since the climate might change all of a sudden.

Hi Vani,
I guess you could.. i carried bottle food for my kids so not a good person to give tip on that.
Today in Munich is warm and humid. But it keeps changing. A light sweater would do on a rainy day. Evenings are especially cooler.

Hi Vani,
To my knowledge near O2 isn't really residential. We knew of an Indian couple also with O2 and they found an apartment in the city centre. It'll be best if your husband can ask Indians working in O2 and I'm sure they'll be helpful.
