Smile life in rural Georgia

Hi all,

I'd really appreciate any input about living in Georgia outside the Atlanta region.

We are mostly moving to Tifton, Georgia later this year and looking to be there for a 5 to 10 year period at least.

A few desi friends who've been there suggested that we don't do the move as the area is not very diverse and not too open to diversity.

Any kind of input about your own experience living in GA (about individual and family life as well as the local schools & univs) would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Bindu.
