| http://www.woccatlanta.com/ There is parking nearby and costs ~$8 We went there on October 12th and was probably there for 1 ½ hours. It’s a place to see about the history of coca-cola. The highlight of the visit is the place where they have several fountains which freely dispense the various drinks that coca-cola makes from around the world. We all have probably tasted Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Sprite etc. But there are probably another 100+ drinks of various flavors that coca-cola makes around the world. Fascinating to drink and the ones they make in The place has pictures of the various advertising campaigns that coca-cola has made since its inception. It also has some pictures and short videos taken during various times in Coca-Cola history. I didn’t enjoy it much, but other folks might. In the end, you come up with the feeling that only Americans can make such a big deal out of a sugary drink. The American marketers gave so much emotional and pizzazz value for what would be dismissed in It’s not worth going to

| Atlanta's newest attraction - the Georgia Aquarium, is located near Centennial Olympic Park. It is the world's largest aquarium. There are over 100,000 animals supported by 8 million gallons of fresh and saltwater. It has an amazing variety of mammals and fishes- beautiful baluga whales to jellyfishes and small sharks! Adult tickets are $22 and you can buy them online. PS: Interesting tidbit - this aquarium has been funded by Bernie Marcus, the same guy who founded Home Depot.

| There is a beautiful Shree Swaminarayan temple in Lilburn, GA that has opened recently on Sept 1, 2007. I think it is a wonderful addition to Atlanta's list of tourist spots as well as a great way to spread knowledge about India and Hinduism. It is a beautiful building, reminiscent of the famous akshardham temple in India. Spread over 30 acres it even has a reflecting pool in front of the temple (quite like the taj mahal).. I read in AJC paper on how people from all faiths are visiting the temple and are loving it. Here's the link for more information. Tourists flock to temple | ajc.com

| Atlanta Zoo and Cyclorama (war Museum) are a good week-end visit. The Botanical Gardens are best to visit during Spring and Summer. There is a miniature train and rail system that runs inside which will surely keep children engrossed for hours. Fernbank Science Center is for budding science enthusiasts. If your kid is one such, then look out for events in this center.
