Moving to Alpharetta/Dunwoody....... Any Suggestions

Hi Ladies
My name is Megha. I'm glad to have joined IndusLadies. My family is moving to Atlanta and we are excited about it.
But along with excitement there is some Anxiety about moving to new place.

I wanted to find out good Apartment/Houses to rent in good area. My husbands Job location is close to Dunwoody. Im a working mom, my girl is 4 yr old so we are looking for good daycare and school district.

Any input will help us!

Welcome to Atlanta. Are you moving from Charlotte ? or India ?
Looks like you found the right thread about Dunwoody area. Dont be anxious, atlanta has everything for your day-to-day life.

Dunwoody is a good place to live with lot of Indians and good schools

Marta station is also nearby for commute

Thanks for the reply. I'm moving from Charlotte. we visited Dunwoody and Alpharetta this weekend to check out the locality and some rental options.

We were not impressed with any apartments that we checked. I have a 4 yr old girl so we want an area with good Elementary school/Montessori and day care facilities.

If you can suggest any good apartments or town home community that will be of great help.

We are planning to move to Atlanta soon. I just came across your query and am wondering which area did you finally choose to stay in, I have 2 kids 8 and 5 year old and looking for good neighbourhoods with very good schools. Office is based near Dunwoody.

We are moving to Alpharetta in Jan 2017 from california, Can u pls suggest me some good indian living apaertment and what is the approx rent in Alpharetta for 1 bhk?

We dont have car ... Do we required car in Alpharetta..Here is California Car is not required we get everything within 1 Mile.
