Atlanta Ladies Get Together - October 27th!!

Hi ladies,

Hope you all had a good weekend. A slight change in my plans. My family (2 adults and 2 kids) will also be joining the get together on 10/27. Due to a conflict with another event, I'd earlier indicated that it will only be myself. However, I just learnt that the Halloween Party which my husband and kids were to attend at the same time as our get together on Saturday has been resheduled for the evening. Therefore, our entire family will be able to come.

hey ppl i am really sorry to say this. 27th is my hubbyz bday. can this potluck be scheduled on sun????? (i know itz toooo much from side to ask this). but i think u ppl can understand. i just didnt realise 27th and sat is the same day. didnt strike me at all. i was palnning for pot luck and for the bday separately. wat a intelligent lady am. i really dont want to miss to meet u all. so hv second thought on this.

Sorry to hear about your conflict!

I would be ok with Sunday Oct 28th. But others might have previous engagements that day. So let us wait to hear from them.

If we don't hear back from everybody that they are ok with Sunday 28th (say by Wednesday/Thursday night), then we'll continue with Saturday. If they are ok with Sunday, then we'll reschedule it for Sunday.

How does that sound?

Sorry, Sunday (10/2 would not work for me. We have a prior commitment on Sunday afternoon which will be hard to cancel.

I have to fix up an urgent medical appointment on Saturday for my husband, so I am not sure if I can make it. I will confirm by tomorrow.

Since Nidhi and her family have a prior engagement on Sunday, let's stick to Saturday October 27th as our get together date.

Manju - Can you confirm your plans? I know if you will be able to come for even a couple of hours it would be GREAT!! Why not ask your husband to come and we will have a surprise cake for him (along with ofcourse 15 voices singing Happy Birthday to him...he he)!!

Nivedi - Delighted to hear that you and yr hubby will be able to make it!

(I have taken out Manju's contribution as of now since we are not sure she'll be able to make it).
