hi dubaiites,im sujatha, im staying in ras al khaimah, recently i migrated to this place. Im working for a FMG company here. Work and my 2-1/2 year old son keeps me very busy. I am from chennai. I miss dubai life very much for temple, plenty of indian restaurants, and south indian groceries. Here kerala super store gives me little relaxation in getting my things. Driving is an advantage here compared to dubai and sharjah. Those who like peaceful village life kind of will definitely like ras al khaimah(rak). Rak is very much developing now wrt to industries, and increasing rent here is one of the symptom for that. I read a lot of hindu religious stuff, and will share with you. Im very happy to join dubai ilites team. Lets keep going, sharing and enjoy life bye sujatha

Hi, This is Janhavi from Abu Dhabi. My family here is just my hubby n my 2 yr old daughter. She is the apple of my eye. A Papa's pet although.I work in an insurance co. Apart from contributing to the family's earnings there is also a guilt which has crept in since i cant devote enough time to my lil one. Abu dhabi is a wonderful place. Inspite of hvg so many Indians here, I wonder why we think twice before communicating with each other. This is certainly not the case back in India, where we befriend strangers so easily-may it be crowded trains, markets, buses. I wish there would be more warmth amongst Indians here too. The only minus point here is the skysoaring accomodation rentals. People migrate to the Gulf mistaking it for greener pastures. But bottomline is that by the time u go back to ur homecountry... u hardly have any savings "when we come into this world we are emptyhanded, even at the time of departing we are empty handed' This proverb probably suits us too. When we migrate here, we think that we'll earn well n hv good savings for a better future for our family. But honestly when we leave this country our state is similar to when we had migrated i.e. emptyhanded. I would love to get feedback from Dubaiites (U.A.E. in general) Till then Cheers & Bye ![]()

I think this Site is doing a wonderful job by bridging the gap between Indians helping them grow new bonds..This is my first visit to the site n second post already. Its amazing to see people communicating with each other so well i mean someone whom you dont even know.I guess its like having a virtual family. Any Abu Dhabiite??? Cheers ![]()
