Best person to ask about dance classes in Dubai is USha Krishnan our moderator.

Her daughter is a very good barthnatyam dancer and she has won lot of prizes.

There are many many dance teachers in Dubai ... depending on where you stay, you can decide whom to choose as all of them are really good ... I've been learning for the past 15 years here in Dubai and have seen the students of many teachers performing ... they are all very good!
But my personal suggestion is not to join an institute ... a private teacher is anyday better ... the time alloted for class, the attention given and the progress of your daughter will be faster ...
Let me know ... I'll give you the names and numbers of a few teachers ...

My daughter was learning bharatnatyam under a teacher in Karama. She couldn't continue due to personal reasons of the teacher.

Can u suggest some good teachers who teach during weekends. We have shifted to Springs, Dubai now and as you know the traffic in the evening is pretty bad. It takes nearly 1 hour and 45 min to reach a class of 1 hr !!!

Secondly, my daughter is in grade 5 in Dubai modern high and she comes home only at 5pm on mon, wed and thurs.

I wouldn't mind paying for extra for good lady teachers who can come home to teach her too.(infact that would be the best option)! That will save me from lot of driving.!!

I have 2 girls who go to the bharathanatyam class in Greens on sat from 12.30 to 2.30,once a week only.Both my daughters have just started their class(6 CLASS DOWN),


Since your daughter was already learning the dance,you can talk to the teacher if you are interested.

I am not sure if Ican give her number here but if you willing to take up the class ,then we can meet in greens on sat.

btw, w.r.t music too - my daughter had already started learning from a teacher in Burdubai. Have taken a break due to the distance and timings. I am just looking for a nearer alternative.
