My DD is in DMIS. she joined this year. As far as i know school is good..and i also heard of some management problem in there.. One thing i found favourable for the KG is their timings. Actually when we tried for her admission we wanted in DPS only as she was studying in DPS India. But couldn't get as it was middle of the academic year and DPS prefered siblings...
Hello ILites in Qatar, now i am in search of school admission for grade 1 for my son. It seems very difficult to get admissions in DPS or BPS as they will give preference for the siblings! We approched BPS and waiting list of students is 110!!! Does anyone know about Pearl school has CBSE Affiliation? Any reviews for this school? Thanks in advance vijaya
Hi Vijaya I did visit Pearl. What I liked best about the school was that for a small class of around 24 kids (in Kg1) there were 2 teachers and an assistant. When I asked around I didn't find any other school with this student teacher ratio. The management and the Principal is from DPS. Teachers are from different schools here, like DPS, BPS, DMIS .etc. Classrooms looked colorful with loads of paperwork on the classroom board. Recently a friend of mine said they do loads of classwork in there. I don't have much info on the 1st grade though. They were on the first floor. The ground floor had only kg1 and kg2.
Thanks for the information Soann. My main concern is CBSE Affiliation and when we enquired in the school they said it is still under processing!
I remembered it now when you said. Ya it was under process when we visited them. I didn't think it would affect us in kg1, kg2. In 1st std, yes it will. Did they say when they were expecting to get it?
