Need info about the work environment in China

Hi All,

I have got an interview call from a software company in China. But I want to know about the culture, work environment and other details of China.

Also want to know about the job opportunities for a sales / Marketing job, as my husband need to find a job over there, if I got selected and deciding to immigrate.

Any suggestions in this regard is highly appreciated.

which place in china you are getting opportunity...tell me some detail i may help you with my knowledge....generally in china there is communication problem hardly you can find anyone who speaks good english or general english....work environment, can't say much but specially asian countries like indian, pakistanis, bangladeshi,s face much problem with other colleagues...but indians are respected a lot......you must know the place where you are likely to join otherwise it is very difficult to survive in china....getting a job after arriving here is not so easy..first of all all the jobs will be posted in china websites which are totally in chinese...if you have offer and you can locate which place you are going then it will be much easier but stepping in without knowledge i will never suggest you..

The place is Taiwan. I yet to confirm on the offer. After reading your post I feel it is better to wait and take a decision instead of deciding immediately. Right? Since my husband also needs to get a job only then we both can start.

you are welcome......so you are getting offer oin taiwan....i don't know much about taiwan...but conditioon in taiwan is better than china....ok i will try to get some information then i will pm you or mail you...let me check with some of my friends...i am a bit busy....give me some time.

But I have decided not to take chance, until we both get a job. Otherwise our survival becomes difficult that too in a alien country. Am i right?

i am so sorry i couldn't provide you any information....i have only one friend their and she is in India ...i am not able to reach her. But one thing is sure it is difficult to get job after reaching there. If your husband too get job then it is better to go. But language is main barrier. If you want to go their in future learn mandarin then it will be very easy to get job there for your husband.
