3 days in Chicago,What are the must see places?

We are planning a three day vacation to Chicago. I have a 2 year old kid.what are the places I must see.we are planning to go to aurora temple. Any other ideas?

There are a lot of ILites from Chicago area. So, I am sure you will get plenty of ideas.

From my experience visting Chicao, you might like Shedd aquarium. They usually have dolphin shows every hour or so. You can also try the field museum if you like to visit musuem with a kid. And don't miss navy pier. Enjoy your trip..!

hindu temple of greater chicago in lemont
swami narayan temple in bartlett
bahai temple (i have not been there) so do not know much about that.

i am planning to go to temple,w.devon ave,waukegan(friends house),and navy pier,aquarium.

so where can i stay? any particular hotel suggestion?

i have a 2 year old kid also,so whats the nice and best hotel to stay?

Try to take a boat tour in downtown. it is worth it.

boat rides are available from navy pier. try doing lake+river tour it will be good.
i think you will have car, so donot rent in downtown. car parking is expensive in downtown.
take any hotel nearby trainstation. you can buy daily pass train tickets and commute.

Just my :my2cents.......The Swaminarayan temple in Bartlet is GORGEOUS. Its magnificent....the temple is worth a visit purely because of its grandiose structure. Its unlike I have seen anywhere. I have visited twice there just to admire the temple...Sorna, if you have time you can visit this.
