I am coming to Canada(Mississuaga)on march 1,I am from Vizag.We would stay in hotel for 2 weeks and will look for rental apartment.Can you please suggest me a palce to stay and with lots of indians and nearby to grocery stores.

Welcome to Canada Candy Cakes. Square one is the place where most new immigrants opt to stay at their initial stages as it is very near to the mall where you get all your groceries and other necessary stuffs. It is also near to the city centre bus terminal.

Thanks for the reply.Do you have knowledge about basement apartments,Is it good to stay in them?The rent seems reasonable for them.I have seen shared apartments too but I guess its difficult to share with someone.Thankq

Hi,

Basement is ok as rent we will be not expensive as the apartment. Actually we are staying in the ground floor, so I haven't experienced the basement, but my neighbour, stays in basement and they are ok with it. If you are willing to stay in basement, please let me know because one of my friend is renting of his basment which is double bedroom and is in Kaiser Drive, Mclaughlin road.

How r u,my husband is not okay with the basement apartment,so we are looking for furnished apartments n found one for 1400$.its been one week in canada

Thankq,its good here but its more colder than US.No kids yet.How abt you?We are staying in Burnhamthorpe rd.Square one is just a five minutes walk to us,we are looking for the high rise apartments to stay in this area only.
