| Hi My cousin lived in montreal area for 2 years and he did have a hard time you do need to know french and the children are also taught in french in the schools so maybe they might have a hard time but they will get used to it and they will learn a new language I know learning a new language is hard but you have to do what you have to do and if they do not like it there it is not so hard to move to another english speaking city if they have their immigration status I hope that helps we live in the toronto area but I have been to montreal many times all the best Gurmeet |

| Hi Gurmeet, Appreciate your posting here since there was no other activity in this thread.Yes, here kids are taught only in French in public schools -- and pvt. schools teach in English but rather expensive. We're moving next week to Jean Talon area where I was told more Indian communities are there -- so happy to be seeing 'apna log' again. Hope more ladies living here contribute & make discussions lively. Cheers ! |
