Career advice

Hello ,
I am living in San Jose and has a school going son .I am feeling bored at Home after being here for almost a year now.I am a Science post graduate in Chemistry and also completed my P.hd in India.I am on L-2 visa and has applied for my EAD
Can some one advice on what r my options here for a job?
I am also interested in teaching line.

Comeon ladies ... Is there no one who can give advice?

u can try in pharmaceuticals companies and in chemical labs.
i too did my postgraduation in chemistry.
here i cant work becoz of my status.

Hi Ladies,
Can anyone let me know what sort of Certification is needed for teaching in an public elementary school here?Is anybody in teaching line ?
With a kid teaching line is a good option .Please help...............

You cannot teach unless have completed a professional teacher preparation program, including successful student teaching, at the level you wish to teach. I got this information for the official CA website.

There is an official website for this giving all information for the prospective CA educator. I dont think i can give the link as i am a new ILite but search google for "Commission on Teacher Credentiing California" . You will find all the jobs, certs, method of preparation, everything you need to know and more.
