Any website to prepare for california state driving license written test

Hi friends,

This week im planning to give the written test for getting my license. Since i already have a kansas state driving license i need to give only the written test. Can anyone guide me abt a website where i can prepare for sample questions quickly instead of going thru the entire handbook manual.I tried a couple of websites thru google but want to prepare thoroughly as i want to clear the test in one shot.

Any other tips also appreciated.

Do you know someone who works at cisco? At the masala intranet website at cisco, they have loaded all the past papers from DMV. If you can get your hands on the same, it will make life much easier!

Instead of wasting time trying to figure out where you can get test papers,it is easier to read the book.You will be thorough if you read it once or twice since you already have Kansas license. My

Absolutely agree with what Sunitha said..better to read the book. Though it looks long, it is quite easy..I had cleared the test in California initially, that too in my first attempt..:)

Well said tht its better to read the handbook manual instead. ANyways, my friend has sent me a couple of links where i can solve some sample questions.
Wish me good luck gals.......so that i can start driving and find some friends around !!!

i wrote the test last month and have the paper with me. so if u want i can scan and send it for u
I used a couple of websites while learning but u need to pay for it for 1 month fee
mine expired otherwise i would have given u my user id and pw for those websites
will mail you all the details if u give me ur ID

I can't believe you paid fees and joined a website to get these papers considering how easy the paper itself is.

i know its kinda stupid ... but it really helped me a lot than just siting with the book alone . atleast got idea how the paper might be.. of course anything for the first time has its own feary face right??

You can go the official website of California Department of Motor Vehicles, just google for official website of california DMV.

There , under the 'publications' tab, you will find the California Driver Handbook, which you must read before taking the test. Read it 1 or 2 times thoroughly, its where the questions come from

To practice, use the Flash tutorial provided in the site.

Also, you can solve the five sample test papers provided there. That should give you an idea about the test.

I did that. I gave my test today and cleared it in the first attempt.
