How safe is it to walk around SUNNVALE residential area

Hi all. hope you could help me with my question. I plan to stay at sunnyvale area - hampton drive and wondering how safe is it to walk with the baby in and around this place. Thanks for any help on this.

I assume you are staying in or around Hampton Apts/arioso apts on wolfe road near the HP campus. This is on the border of sunnyvale/cupertino and is close to highway 280. The area is pretty safe. There is a big chinese mall across the street from hampton apts and I don't think you should have any problems walking in that area.

There is also a regular mall called Vallco Mall, with Sears, Macy's, JC Penny etc within a short walking distance. Every friday, there is a wonderful farmer's market in the mall parking lot where you see lots of indians, chinese etc buying desi veggies etc. It is a nice area to live in definitely!

Welcome to the area .. I used to live near Vallco mall a few years ago, now living a bit further away. But I still go to the farmer's market on occasion!
