Looking for friends in Milpitas/cupertino

Hello friends,

I shall be moving to either milpitas/cupertino in coming november from bloomington.Im looking for new friends here so that i can spend good time.

Can anyone introduce themselves here and help me out to find a good apartment either in milpitas or cupertino. Instead of finding it on the website i want personal feedback from friends.

Does any of your kids go to CUSD (cupertino school district) Please let me know the good schools here and the apartments nearby located.

cupertino is a good place for school I dunt say no.
By the way my name is saratha. I live in san jose . My husband works in an office in milpitas. So we stay close to the office.(10 mins drive thats it)
I looked for an apt in milpitas ..the one readily available will always be mill creek. but since its near a garbage dump it sometimes smells bad. I recently shifted to a 2 b 2 b apt in san jose after 3 months of hunting.
couldnt find one in milpitas better. very limited option for milpitas. So we finalised with this apt in san jose. Its nice as far as I know.

Welcome to Bay area.
I live in Cupertino. I have stayed in milpitas for couple of years. I would highly recommend Elan Village at River Oaks. There are host of other good apartments neat to it. Other one Avalon at river oaks. I have stayed in Elan , so will highly recommend it. It s light high on budget. But very safe and indeed nice ambience.

I dont have kids yet. So cann't give idea about schools in Cupertino. I see there is Archstone cupertino, which seems like good option too.

Is any one of u residing in Verandas apts or nearby apts in Cupertino. Pls let me know if any one of u r there and the nearby groceries,medical facilities etc. Is the place child-friendly and any nearby parks etc.

I don't stay in cupertino, but nearby in santa clara. There's one Indian grocery store called "Kumud" near to Verandas. Plus you're close to Stevens creek, so strip mall, groceries shoildn't be a problem. I don't know much about the apt complex, but the CUSD is good.
