Thanks Swapna n Priya for ur valuable suggestions. They r really helping me out. What happened to the plan of meeting? Nobody seems to be interested or there is some other problem. Please come up with some ideas suiting all. Swapna I sent u a message in orkut. Can u plz check n tell me whether u received it or not.

How abt a potluck lunch in a park? Can somebody suggest a park where this can be done. What do u say? Our kids will also enjoy.

Swapna - Can u tell me how many classes did u take from the instructor and which DMV u gave ur test. Did they ask u to show parking also? I am keen to know abt all this as I am seriously learning it and want to get my license soon, so that I can be independent like u.

I sent an invite to you in orkut. did u get it?
regarding the driving, like i said i practiced first & then i went to the instructor for one time only (2hrs) coz they are costly & also so that he could give me last minute useful tips. I took the test in Fremont DMV.
In the test you dont have u-turns, no freeways but what are there are lane changes, turns, curb parking & reverse etc as can be seen in the scoresheet in one of the links i posted earlier and Parking is also included, which is done at the end of the test.
Lets add eachother in orkut so that we chat in gmail. that'll be much easier if you have any doubts.
Regarding potluck lunch, its a gud idea. Why dont we do that on a weekend with the whole family near my place. There is a lake hear which is a very gud picnic spot. Anyone else interested let us know gals.

Hope everyone is doing fine.
Lets all make a decision about our meet otherwise this discussion will continue forever.
I was thinking maybe we could meet at Fremont Lake Elizabeth for potluck lunch in the afternoon or just snacks in the evening on April 20th or 27th.

Let me know which date is suitable for everyone and clear their schedules to come.
