Hi Corallux,

Thank u for answering to my mail. You all can understand shifting from one place to another is such a big process.My main concern is abt the schools.Presently my kids are in Riyadh studying in grade 5th and LKG .I want to know when is the school accademic year starting in Melbourne.here it is starting in April and it is three term system.so that we can plan accordingly to land there.

Secondly wht abt the rental apartments facility?Is flats good or villas. where are mostly Indians staying?

The questions are more but i dont want to trouble you a lot. Just give a rough idea abt Melbourne.Nice to see u r mail.

Sorry for the late reply.

Moving frm one place to another is a huge decision. First of all: DON'T PANIC..
School year starts from Jan, I have many migrant families who have landed in April & other months & still got into schools.

You can have, Units, apartments Or even a town house on rent-Only question is: What area are you looking at? It wld depend on your jobs etc.

We are there all over Melb, a joke goes around saying just throw a stone & it will land on a Chines/Indian

Pls do not hesitate to ask any more queries. I will help you in the best poss way

I am Shubha, currently at Adelaide with my husband who is a s/w engr.
I am a S/w engr and we are moving to melbourne in Jan 2008, I will not be working. Would love to make friends there and have people around.

atlast i found the site where i can make friends
it feels good .
1st of all intro
my name is tejal
i m married n have a little noughty kid
have been here since three years doing full time job of taking care of my kid
v r basically from mumbai. and noe a days i m searching for a good course
its bit difficult to choose . so many feilds r there.
