Hi ya!

I am Kayal from Wellington, NewZealand (from Rajapalayam). planning to move to Melbourne in Feb 2010. My husband is coming there next week officially. He needs to be there for at least 2 months. Is there "family stay" type arrangements there? He would love to stay as a paying guest in a good family! Your guidance and help would be much appreciated.

Kayal.

Hello Ladies!!
I am new to living here in Melbourne, have visited it a lot over the years. How are you doing?? I love the city and am happy we finally made up our minds (mulling over it ad nauseum).

Like a lot of you, I live in one of the south eastern suburbs. I love the peace and quiet and find that there is a lot more than 24 hours in a day here, or so it seems (which is perfect).
I am a bombayiite but have not lived there for about 18 years, love it tons but don't really miss it any more.
I read, listen to music and love driving. I am currently trying my hand at cooking, baking, gardening and stitching up my curtains...( trust me I have very little experience on all four counts) but I will pretty much give anything sane a go....
Thats that about me....

Hi all. Nice to see this forum. I have been living here for the past 4 years. I have 2 year old daughter and would love to meet up with parents who have similar age kids.

Smile Hello, who am I

Hello, Everybody,

I just joined Indus Ladies and after reading some of the threads, I am so confident that I am going to enjoy myself here. Iam recently migrated with my husband and with my 9 years old daughter from Singapore to Sydney and looking forward to make friends and spend some good and healthy time with Indus Ladies.

To introduce myself

I am Bhavani Sai; was born in Andhra Pradesh, India.

After completing my education, I got married to Mr. Anantha, who was already working in Singapore and we lived there for about 11 years. I worked in a full-time employment and after becoming pregnant I started working from home. My husband encouraged my decision and today I am on my own... an independent, fulltime forex trader enjoying my trades and freedom that my work offers.

I enjoy this line of work because each trade is different and challenging. My trading is a constant learning process and experience. And of course I have the advantages of working from home. I can spend a valuable time with my daughter and with my husband. End of the day am getting the satisfaction of both being a good home maker as well as an enthusiastic trader.

I do like reading religious books, listening to spiritual music. But my favorite subjects are business and cooking I make time to cook good and healthy food for my family as we are traditionally vegetarians. I do experiments in different vegetarian options like Chinese, Iranian, Italian and French. I also love to experience meditation and other kinds of devotional activities with my friends and frequently visit temples.

I spend some of my free time chatting with friends online and phoning my relatives in India, shopping….etc.

I believe Life in general is short and being with family and friends makes it more enjoyable and feel like we are living a quality life.

Bhavani Sai
