Hey Pratima. Welcome to Melbourne ! I love your enthuness in trying to go out and visit places on your own. Its a good idea and you get to learn your way about easily. I was never like this initially. Dont worry about big gang from India. You will surely find lots of friends here too slowly. Its only been 1+months isnt it. Cmon give it some time and you will be fine. Meanwhile keep looking for job as well.

hi Pratima, thats nice to look for job and also live life, dont stress too much, city is good, you can go to bourke st, collins st and lots of store to go to and eat in the indian restaurant (flora)....i usually go to city and comeback with my hubby....so i set the timing with his finish time and roam here and there and then go back home.

what else you do, where do you live?

Funny that I try to do the same too!! I go to city and try to sync up with my hubby to come back home!! Though the last time i went, I jus went around a lil and caught the train back :).. I live in malvern, where do you stay?? and where r u from india? and from how long are you here?

i am from hyderabad and i am here from one year, started looking for jobs as well and as brunswick is close to city its easier to get there. so do you have kids? do you have email id? let me know, we can talk there?
