Hi Subaby (Surekha I think, if my memory is right )..........Thats a very handy website indeed !! Thank you so much. Having been here for a while I still did not know such a thing existed. We all normally go with word of mouth.

Hi Pratima..........Good Indian Beauty Parlours - From my knowledge here, many ladies run this service from their own homes. If you normally go to an Indian shop you are bound to find some flyers or business cards at the front desk, of ladies who run this business from home. That is how I came to know as well. Initially I used to pick any parlour here but threading is not something that is done normally but somethng was better than nothing initially. At normal parlours it is quite an expensive affair. But with Indian ladies running business at home, it is very very reasonable. About $5 to $8 for eye brows and there onwards for others. There are lot more Indians in the eastern suburbs and you should not have much problem. Just look up for ads on Indian newspapers as well that you get from Indian Shops.

If you are desperate and can not deal with waxing, then when you go to the city one of these days, check for one in the city. Now I don't remember the name but its a parlour at the corner of Collins Street and Spring Street. All Shahnaz products are used by her as well. It might be pricey because of the location and all that and you need to make an appointment as well. I hope that person has not moved locations, as it has been ages since I have been to the city looking for this place in particular.

Hi Pratim,Do u usually go to the Indian groceryshop here? If,you go there,u can find the free newspapers there. In that community free newpapers, u can find many indian beauty parlours advertisement. If you search that,u may find the nearest beauty parlour. I have seen lots of advertisement regarding beautyparlour in that papers. But,I do not remember now. Let check this.

Sorry dear...I have no clue of anybody in that area, for that matter not sure who does all that even in other areas. Possibly you will need to find out who has been around for the longest and then pick them ( the parlour owners from the papers I mean ), by calling them and finding out.

I will check with my friends here and see if anybody knows anyone too. Hope you find somebody soon.
