Default Under state sponsr, is it necessary to work-as, for what they have selected ????

hi,

thanks all for the valuable information that is passed on from IL to all who require them.

I too require some information and woul b glad to get the same from you.

I have registerd for migrting to Australia and would be getting a state sponsorship for the same. Since my state sponsporshing would be as an internal Auditior, is it possible for me to work as an Accountant( against the one which state has sponsored). Secondly, are there any Hidden or legal obligation that has to be full filled under State sponsorship.

I will be grateful to all and the one who guides me in these regards.

Hope your suggestions would help be to migrate to Australia without much tension.

Thanks

Hello Indian30,

There is no need to work in the same position for which you have been granted state sponsorship. You can work as an accountant if you wish to. Check out this site Department of Immigration & Citizenship There is a lot of information regarding different kinds of visas. All the best for your state sponsorship .

Hi indian30,

Welcome to the forum. You said you are getting state sponsership, would that be the 176 visa? If it is, then you are open to work in any industry as you wish. There is no hard and fast rule that you have to work in the same industry or the same profession as you mention in the paperwork. Also, you will have to stay in the same state for 2 years and then you will be free to work anywhere in Aus.

I'm not sure about any legal obligations, however, when you proceed in the processing there would definitely be lot of paperwork and questions you would answer which includes details about you and your family. Check this for more info, immi.gov.au

Cheers !!
