Hi

My husband has applied for Spouse Visa for Australia and we're also patiently waiting for some good news. He applied on 31st July so Kirthi and Vani you all are ahead of him in the queue ... will be eagerly awaiting news of your visas to help determine when he might get his. Keep posting (and being patient - we are also trying)

Last news he had from his CO was that they were processing visas submitted in the last week of June and that was about 2 weeks ago.

Cheers,
Sarah

Hi Sarah

Welcome to the club of 'spouses in waiting'. I will definitely keep you informed of the status of my application. But first we will wait to hear from Kirthi who is ahead of me.

Regards
Vani

Congratulations Kirthi I am sure you will love living in Australia - best of luck with your move and settling in.

So, that's submitted 1st July 2009 and received 27th Oct 2009 - it seems processing time is very close to four months now More waiting for us ... we were told Oct 31st (for July 31st submission) but obviously now that's out of the question.

Vani, you are next! I hope you get yours soon

Kind regards,
Sarah

Hi Kirthi

Congratulations! Very happy for you. The long wait is over and you can now rest easy. All the best as you make preparations for the leap to a new life in Australia.

Rawjiv, you are still here. Atleast you have a date for your departure. Time flies.

Sarah, I will keep you informed of the status of my application.

Regards
Vani

Hi Sarah and Kirthi

My passport with the visa arrived home this evening. My application was lodged on July 13 and visa granted on Oct 27. I was surprised it came sooner than I expected.

Sarah, yours may be granted earlier too. All the best.

Vani

Hi Vani

Great news! Lovely to hear it came earlier than you expected.

Sanjay (my husband) spoke to his case manager last week and they said end of this week he would have his visa granted ... earlier than we expected too

Best of luck in Oz

Sarah
