Question Brisbane Malls

Hi everyone,

Could anyone please tell me where can we find good indian groceries (i.e, masala, pickles ect.,) and fresh vegetables in brisbane? I heard that we dont find a lot of vegetables there as we find in hyderabad (india). Is it true? Also, how about the regular shopping for instance, women's apparels, or for guys, which would be the best place to shop. (in terms of cost effective and quality) I checked some webs like meyers, target, coles, woolworth, aldi. How are these places?

Can anyone throw some light on this please.

Thanks.

Regards,
Surekha

Hi im studying in Gold Coast, are you in Brisbane? Well there should be indian grocery shops in Brisbane, which would have similar stuff to India (but less variety)...in terms of clothes Target is pretty good for all the family

Hey pink.rubies
You would be disappointed to know that i'm still here in india for the acs result. It is still "in process", so i'm just doing my bit of research so that i would be a lill familiar with the city. Thanks for the input coz i was worried about the shopping there Have you seen the movie "Confessions of Shopaholic"? Heard its a good movie..

Any info about where can i find the our regular indian groceries?

Thanks.

Surekha

Hi everyone,

I did check some websites like indiandownunder.com which had really good info but then couldn't exactly get any info on the grocery stores available in and around brisbane. Can anyone give some info please? Maybe a web address or atleast the name of the store or its location.

Thanks

Surekha

P.S. People who are in the process of immigrating, do check the web address mentioned, its informative.
