Travelling to India from New Zealand

Hi my husband, our 20 month old baby girl (by september she will be!) and My self are considering taking her on a sight see around india - doing a tour through a reputable agent... just wondering if anyone has anytips? are we mad????? she is a very veyr easy toddler who is chilled and happy to hang with mum and dad most of the time. My father is from India but language will be a barrier for us. We thought a sight seeing trip might be ok as we can take a stroller and do lots of walking? HELP planning now :) thanks! bonk
