Need Playgroup in Clayton, Melbourne,VIC

Hi, i have just shifted to Clayton - suburb in Melbourne,VIC. I have a 3 year old daughter who gets very bored at home. I'm searching for a playgroup for her. And also, so that i can socialise with people here, as i'm getting very bored sitting at home. Can anyone please let me know if some activities for kids takes place on this side or not?

Hiya Munisra,

The best place to look for a playgroup would be to contact the local library.

The newly opened Community centre is simply fantastic. On weekdays, you can see a lot of Desi moms with their kids.

Your L'il one splash about & you can enjoy with other activities..

Hi Munisra,

The Playgroup Victoria website has everything about Playgroups all over Melbourne, you can search by your suburb. I had a quick look, there's one each in Cl, Cl North and Cl South. Here is the link: Playgroup Victoria, a one stop playgroup resource

Landmark: Coles.

Do you know the shopping centre on Clayton rd? Just keep walking till you hit Centre rd.

Walk down & you will see coles. It is opposite Coles.

I have recently moved to Clayton in Melbourne, from Chennai. I would definitely like to make friends with people in that area.
I have a one year old son, and also am looking for playgroups for him in that area.

Hiya,

There is already a thread regarding Clayton-Vic. I will be merging your query to that thread.

I was in Clayton & can tell you there are plenty of Indians there.

As for playgroups, the best way to get info is to call up the City of Kingston Office during business hours & they can send you a list. Alternatively, please visit your local library.

I'm moving to Melbourne by the mid of april. my hubby is already there and searching for a good and safe area. we are looking for an accommodation within 150AUD p/w. can u please suggest me a place.

At your budget, you need to look at renting in the outer suburbs.
