Once you land in Australia

Once you land in OZ:

1. Open a bank Account in a good bank & deposit all the $$$ you have got

2.Register yourself in the nearest Centrelink & get a Job-Seekers#-This is compulsary as any Employer will ask for your Job-Seeker's ID

3. Go to the Tax Office & get a Tax file Number.

4. Go to the Library/Centrelink where you can avail of free internet when you book a slot for yourself.

5. Buy the The Age newspaper on Wednesdays & Saturdays as the MY CAREER section has a lot of jobs according to each specifications.

6.Go to different job agencies(as per your skill) & register for jobs.

7. Get a Pre-paid mobile.

8. Prepare a good Resume-Use the Templates from the Seek website.(SEEK - Australia's no. 1 jobs, employment, career and recruitment site)
